Kate is a designer and artist currently based in Appalachia.After graduating from Auburn University with a major in industrial design and a minor in graphic design, she started work as a designer at Page Street Publishing, in non-fiction, Children's picture books, and Young Adult. She also runs beazdesigns where she does freelance design, project management, and illustration. She is currently furthering her education with a masters in Natural Resources at Virginia Tech, focusing on non-profit management, scientific communication and storytelling.In her pursuit to become a human multi-tool, she has become proficient in a variety of softwares and hard skills, and can direct you to the nearest bakery in German.Kate's other interests include sleeping, narrative video games, textile arts, and moss.
